Click the BaitCatch icon and check that “Enabled” is on and the site is ticked under Sites, then reload the page. If you installed BaitCatch while the feed was already open, reload it once. It reads feeds — YouTube Home, search and the column beside a video, the X timelines, and Reddit listings — not individual video or post pages.

The first means the page you are on is not one of the three feeds it reads; BaitCatch stays quiet everywhere else. The second means nothing has come past it yet: scroll the feed, or reload the page if you have just installed it.

Nothing is removed. A hidden item keeps its place, says why it was hidden, and has a Show button. If it is hiding too much, move “How strict” to Relaxed, which catches only the obvious, or untick a category under Hide: Clickbait, Hype or Outrage bait. You can also switch a single site off and leave the other two running.

Spoilers are only hidden for the titles you list under “No spoilers for” in the popup, so add the exact name of the series, film or match. Posts that merely mention a title, such as trailers and casting news, are left alone on purpose, and only posts that give something away are hidden. It is most accurate in English; titles in other scripts are left alone rather than judged badly. If it got one wrong, send us the post.

The free plan checks 300 feed items a day, and the count resets at midnight UTC. Items it checked recently do not count again. Pro removes the daily limit, with fair use of 3,000 items a day.

Copy the whole key from your receipt email, with no spaces before or after, paste it into the popup and press Activate. “Already active on 3 browsers” means the key is in use on three installs; email us and we will free one. “No longer active” means the subscription ended or was refunded. “Belongs to a different product” means it is a key for another extension. If a payment went through and no key arrived within ten minutes, check spam, then email us with the address you paid with.
