This notice covers the website tools.codewithkolin.com. Each released extension has its own policy: FakeCatch.

Waitlists

If you join a waitlist we keep your email address, which product it was for, the date, and the country your request came from. We use it for one thing: a single email when that product launches. We do not add you to a newsletter, and we do not share or sell the list.

To be removed, email support@codewithkolin.com from that address, or ask us what we hold about you. The list is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site.

The “paste a review” demo

Text you paste into the demo is sent to our server and on to TypeSafe AI, whose model scores it, and the score is shown to you. Our server keeps the score for up to seven days, filed under a one-way fingerprint of the text, not the text itself. TypeSafe’s policy says it does not train its models on this input; it keeps it for as long as it considers reasonably necessary, and its service is hosted in the United States. Please do not paste anything private. To limit abuse we count tries per network address per day; that count records nothing about what was checked.

Visits

We do not count or track visits to this site. If that changes, it will be a cookieless counter, and this page will say so first.

What this site does not do

No advertising, no third-party trackers, no social media pixels, no fonts or scripts loaded from other companies. The light or dark theme you choose is remembered in your own browser.
