Privacy Policy — TabTrim
What it reads. When you click the TabTrim icon, it reads the web address and title of each tab open in that window, to group them by site and show them to you. It uses the address only to work out the site name and a short path. It does not read the content of any page.
Where that goes. Nowhere. TabTrim works entirely inside your browser. It has no server, makes no network requests, and sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
What it stores. Nothing. It keeps no list of your tabs, no history and no settings. When the popup closes, what it read is gone.
What it does. It closes the tabs you tell it to close, and only when you press Close. It never closes pinned tabs.
Why Chrome mentions your browsing history. TabTrim uses Chrome's "tabs" permission, which it needs to see tab addresses and titles. Chrome describes that permission as being able to "read your browsing history". TabTrim only looks at the tabs open right now, and keeps and sends nothing.
What we never collect. Anything. The extension contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
