Click the FakeCatch icon and check that “Enabled” and “Show badges on reviews” are both ticked, then reload the page. Badges only appear next to customer reviews, so scroll to the reviews section. If you installed the extension while the page was already open, reload it once.

On stores outside the built-in list, FakeCatch can only read reviews the site marks up in a way it recognises: the Judge.me widget, the standard schema.org review format, or reviews labelled Verified Purchase. Some stores load reviews inside a frame an extension cannot reach. Email us the page address and it goes on the list.

A score is an automated opinion about how the text reads, and it can be wrong. Generic praise gets amber because it cannot be told apart from a fake by its words alone. If a score looks clearly wrong, send us the review text. Those examples are how the scoring gets better.

The free plan scores 50 reviews scored a day, and the count resets at midnight UTC. Reviews that were already scored recently do not count again. Pro removes the daily limit.

Copy the whole key from your receipt email, with no spaces before or after, paste it into the popup and press Activate. “Already active on 3 browsers” means the key is in use on three installs; email us and we will free one. “No longer active” means the subscription ended or was refunded. If a payment went through and no key arrived within ten minutes, check spam, then email us with the address you paid with.
